What venues see

Your page.
Food first.

Venues pick trucks by what they serve. Your page leads with your menu, then your food, how many you can serve and when you’re free. Every pitch you trade adds a review.

Your hygiene rating, up front

Venues see your food hygiene rating before anything else. We check it with your council once, along with your insurance.

Got a following?

Venues love a truck that brings its own queue. Add your Instagram. Say you’ll post about the pitch and you’ll stand out.

Email us and we’ll get back to you. Everything else, from posting a night to getting paid, happens in the app.

None. Joining is free, always. You only pay when you book: 15% on top of the act’s price, never more than £50. Food trucks are a flat £50.

When you accept a booking. We hold your money safely and only pay the act once the night’s gone ahead. If the night doesn’t happen, you get it all back.

That’s the Backup Promise. We find you a replacement. If we can’t, you get every penny back.

Every act’s profile shows reviews from other venues and what we’ve checked. Need public liability insurance or PAT-tested kit? Tick it when you post the night. Only acts who have it can say yes. Food trucks always need a hygiene rating.

Keep them. Bring them onto Packed Out and book everyone in one place, with the same checks and the same money held safely until the night.

If you can send a text, you can use it. Posting a night takes about a minute. The app walks you through every step.

No. No minimum nights, no monthly fee. Book when you want, stop when you want.

We work with pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels across the UK. Acts choose how far they’ll travel, so you only see people who’ll actually come to you.

Not always. Many ask for a meal or a stay. Some charge a fee too. What they’ll post and what they get is agreed in writing before they walk in.

No. It’s free to join. There’s no pitch fee and no cut of your sales. The venue pays us a booking fee, so every penny you take is yours.

The same way you do now. Customers pay you on your own card reader or in cash. It’s your money from the first sale. We never touch it.

A food hygiene rating and public liability insurance. Cook with gas? Add your gas safety certificate too and venues see the badge. We check them once.

Each pitch says what’s on site. Some venues have a hook-up and some don’t. Bring a quiet generator and more pitches open up to you.

Every request says how many people the venue expects, so you can decide if it’s worth it before you say yes. Try your own numbers on the receipt above.

Usually not. Pubs make their money at the bar. If you serve coffee or soft drinks, say so on your page and the venue can decide.

It’s all in the booking. Anything else, agree with the venue in the app before the day.

Trading on a venue’s own land often doesn’t need it, but councils differ. If you’re not sure, check with yours before your first pitch.

Yes. Mark the days you’re free. Venues only ask about those days. You can turn any request down.

Yes. Every booking stands on its own. If a venue loves your food, they can book you every week and you accept each date in one tap. You’re never tied in.

Keep them. Invite them on and book through Packed Out, so all your pitches are in one place.
