What venues see

Your page.
Video first.

Venues pick bands by watching them. Your page leads with a live video, then your songs, your price and when you’re free. Every gig you play adds a review.

Badges open more nights

Add insurance or a PAT test and it shows as a badge. Venues that ask for them can book you. Tap the grey badge to see what changes.

Play it more than one way

Add a trio or acoustic version of your band with its own price. Smaller rooms and tighter budgets can still book you, so you say yes to more nights.

None. Joining is free, always. You only pay when you book: 15% on top of the act’s price, never more than £50. Food trucks are a flat £50.

When you accept a booking. We hold your money safely and only pay the act once the night’s gone ahead. If the night doesn’t happen, you get it all back.

That’s the Backup Promise. We find you a replacement. If we can’t, you get every penny back.

Every act’s profile shows reviews from other venues and what we’ve checked. Need public liability insurance or PAT-tested kit? Tick it when you post the night. Only acts who have it can say yes. Food trucks always need a hygiene rating.

Keep them. Bring them onto Packed Out and book everyone in one place, with the same checks and the same money held safely until the night.

If you can send a text, you can use it. Posting a night takes about a minute. The app walks you through every step.

No. No minimum nights, no monthly fee. Book when you want, stop when you want.

We work with pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels across the UK. Acts choose how far they’ll travel, so you only see people who’ll actually come to you.

Not always. Many ask for a meal or a stay. Some charge a fee too. What they’ll post and what they get is agreed in writing before they walk in.

No. It’s free to join and we take nothing from your fee. We charge the venue, so you keep every penny of your price.

The venue’s payment is secured before the night. It’s released once you’ve played and lands in your account within two working days of the night. If you’re booked at short notice, it’s three working days after the booking instead.

The fee goes to the account on your page. Split it between the band however you like.

Plenty of pubs don’t have one, so most bands bring their own. Say on your page what you bring. Venues see it before they ask.

Yes. Add a trio or acoustic version with its own price. Venues with smaller rooms or budgets can book that instead.

Yes. Every request lists the stage, the power, the PA and any noise limit before you accept.

As a rough guide outside London, £350 to £750 for a 3 or 4-piece covers band on a Friday or Saturday, less for duos and solo singers. The Musicians’ Union recommends £167 per musician for a pub gig of up to three hours. Set your own price. You keep all of it.

Usually two 45-minute sets, or three on longer nights. The times are in the request before you accept, so there are no surprises.

Most pub nights ask for covers. Each request says what the venue wants, so original acts can pick the nights that suit them.

Yes. Acoustic evenings, Sunday afternoons and restaurant sets book solo singers and duos most.

Yes. Mark the nights you’re free. Venues only ask about those nights. You can turn any request down.
